Made the first company in Yandex Direct

Optimizing the site for your friends, decided to offer them contextual advertising, although at that time I was not engaged in this direction of promotion. After receiving my proposal, they were their words “It's expensive and we've already tried, the budget went away and there were no calls“. In general, scratching the back of my head, I still talked them into making an advertisement on 1 month and since my ideas were usually valuable and worked, with gritted teeth but agreed.

Since that time has passed 3 months and all 3 month they continue to order ads. It turned out, that advertising works, it just had to be set up correctly and it had to be constantly monitored.

What prompted the use of context and why it became profitable. What have I done with the company.

  • configured for the target region and advertising became in 8 times cheaper;
  • then I made a competent list of ads and asked a copywriter friend to write me targeted sales articles for each ad, this allowed to increase the number of calls at times;
  • then made a list of negative words, there is always a reduction in price, but it depends strongly on the subject of the site, in my case, it turned out to reduce the cost of contextual advertising in 12 once;
  • I tried to advertise only for target words and set up about 400 requests, this made it possible to choose the right ones and reduce the cost by another 40%;
  • removed unconfigured Yandex display ads, since I didn’t know how to do it at all and decided that without it it should turn out well and it really happened );

In general, the advertising budget for 400 ads in most accurate and low-frequency came out about 15000r. per month, it's given, that the topic itself is expensive, competitive and business. Such advertising currently brings 3-4 call.

I think my experience with contextual advertising turned out to be quite good., everything works and brings customers. I want to clarify, that the site was also very well optimized. If anyone has, what numbers or experience of promotion in contextual advertising I will be glad to see them in the comments on the site or in a group of social networks.
